Burnley Public Art Commission

WHO: outstanding artists.
WHAT: as part of a programme of public realm improvements, Burnley Council wish to appoint an artist to design and arrange the production, delivery and installation of public artworks within a newly defined Education and Enterprise Zone at Princess Way.
WHEN: it is essential that the project is completed on budget by the end of December 2010. Artists interested in being invited to tender must submit a completed Pre-Qualification Questionnaire by noon on Monday 24 May 2010.
PAYMENTS: maximum budget for the project is £142,000 GBP.
DETAILS: a maximum of four artists will be shortlisted and invited to tender based on the information given in the PQQ. Each shortlisted artist will receive a fixed design expenses fee of £2,500 for developing a concept proposal and design.
