Laughing My Guts Out - Andy Best and Merja Puustinenfolly's Portable Pixel Playground visited Lancashire for the first time this weekend at the start of its two year tour throughout Lancashire and Cumbria. The interactive playground for all ages was entertaining young and old alike at the environmentally-friendly Solaris centre in Blackpool, all day on Sunday 28th September.

More information about some of the interactive digital art available on the day:

The Playground featured a brand new piece of art commissioned from internationally-acclaimed artists Squidsoup (www.squidsoup.org), where you can to create and affect a physical landscape inhabited by a host of virtual creatures.  There’s video and photos of the bugs here: http://wordpress.com/tag/portable-pixel-playground/
