What is dotdotdot?
dotdotdot is the internet’s first interactive radio streaming motion capture project. It is an online virtuali choreographic work where viewers select the soundtrack whilst driving the performance animations.
What can we do with it?
dotdotdot uses motion capturei to locate a figure in a virtual space. You can choose what the figure looks like and what sort of music it dances to. Using your mouse you can take control of this virtual dancer’s movement and performance. The more you play with dotdotdot the more you will develop control over the dancer’s moves.
Who are the artists?
Igloo are led by artists Ruth Gibson and Bruno Martelli. Their projects are created with teams of highly skilled practitioners drawn primarily from performance, music, design, architecture, costume, computer science and technology backgrounds. The work is developed in a variety of formats and made for distribution across a range of platforms, including gallery installation, internet sites, large and small scale performance and Cd Rom.
