Square Cuts

The first of a new series of digital anthologies from Flax Books, the publishing imprint of Litfest.

The weekly podcasts feature extracts of short fictions from writers across Lancashire and Cumbria, and include tales of ghosts, guns and Walt Disney, in an audio experience that is both entertaining and thought-provoking.

Litfest is Lancaster's literature festival, which each year mixes established writers with emerging fresh voices. This year the festival takes place from 15 to 19 November. A live reading event to celebrate the publication of Square Cuts takes place on Saturday 18 November.

Podcasts will be released every Wednesday from 4 October.
