Learn the tricks and tips of guerrilla film-making by hands on use of professional and low-budget equipment. Discover how independent film-making works and develop your own production techniques to help you create films, animations, documentaries and all manner of ‘guerrilla’ media. We’ll be using Bluetooth, mobile phones, the internet, DVD and TV, and looking at digital video, animation, editing techniques, story-boarding, visual narrative and production planning. Tell your own stories and make your own media with these unique series of taster workshops and two documentary filmmaking residential weekends.

Create IT! A new evening computer course, with a difference
workshops Wednesdays, 6-8pm; 15th, 22nd, 29th October; 19th, 26th November, 3rd December
Create IT! is a new evening course at Forum28 in Barrow, allowing local people to explore free creative software for their computer.
Each Wednesday you can learn how to manipulate motion, video, sound, illustration, images, internet technologies and office tools, all using “open source” software that you can download for free and use on your computer at home. The course will not just show you how to use your computer, but how to be creative with your computer.
