folly job vacancies for young, long-term unemployed

Under the exciting new government initiative, Future Jobs Fund, there is currently the opportunity for young (aged 18-24), long-term unemployed people who may be eligible, to apply for any of the following three posts at folly in Lancaster:
 

  • Marketing Assistant
  • AND Projects Assistant
  • Technical Assistant

 
Anyone fitting the above criteria should contact Jobcentre Plus in the first instance to find out further details of the scheme and to confirm their eligibility. Jobcentre Plus will provide further details on the posts and on how to make an application.

These new posts are open to young people aged 18-24 years old, who are long-term unemployed people (as a guide this is usually 39 weeks and over) to apply to come and work with us. The aim of the scheme is for young people to gain quality experience and an awareness of real working situations. These are entry level posts and are guaranteed for a minimum of six months at 25 hours per week.

Anyone who fits the stated age range and unemployment status should contact their Job Centre. They should confirm eligibility, arrange referral to the scheme if appropriate and provide further details of the posts and application procedures. The scheme aims to facilitate speedy appointment to these posts and the current deadline for applications is Wednesday 10th February.

Please note all enquiries must go through the Future Jobs Fund co-ordinator at local Job Centre.

I have just stumbled across these posts while looking through your website. Is it possible to get some more information on the duties involved, where the posts are based and how to apply for them?

I have recently graduated BA HONS FINE ART, and am within the age range specified. I am currently based in Preston, Lancashire.

I have just received this email through Facebook and followed the link to the Job Centre website as instructed - this is a general link to the Job Centre website and leads to nothing specific about the jobs themselves.

I just searched for them on the Job Centre site and found nothing within the search.

Are these jobs based in Lancaster?

I am 23years old and have been unemployed since graduating with a BA Hons Fine Art Degree last July. I currently live in Morecambe, so i would be eligible to apply for the positions(s)....

Could you elaborate a little further for me?
