Podcamp – natural meets virtual with new Grizedale Forest trails

The second Podcamp weekend at Grizedale Forest was another success, with ten Young Carers aged between 9 and 15 years old enjoying a weekend stay in the woods from 25th to 26th June.

Ten young carers enjoyed a successful Podcamp weekend of 11th – 12th June; the first of two residential trips to Grizedale Forest to make artwork, learn about the forest, and have a well-earned respite from their daily care duties.

Podcamp is an art project based in Grizedale Forest, providing the unique opportunity for young carers across Cumbria to engage with digital technology and explore the forest environment. Carers aged 18 and under will take part in two residential camping weekends in the forest in June.
