Alpha-ville: Call For Digital Artists

This September, Alpha-ville international festival of digital arts and culture returns to introduce the theme - ‘Visionary Cities’. In partnership with the Whitechapel Gallery and Rich Mix Cultural Foundation, the festival will fill two days with groundbreaking live music and visual performances including advanced electronic music, live cinema, interactive media installations, 3D visual performances, a moving image competition and a screening programme.

Alpha-ville is currently seeking submissions for digital art works that challenge the traditional art disciplines. In particular, art works and projects that use digital technologies to create innovative meanings of interactivity and audience participation. The work will be displayed at the Whitechapell Gallery on Friday 17th September 2010.

ENTRY DETAILS: There is no limit to the number of artworks you wish to submit.
2. Submissions are accepted from individuals, groups and collectives
3. Submissions via email with a link to your online portfolio or website.
4. Please include a short bio and mission statement.
5. Include all artwork titles and descriptions.
6. No entry fee

REQUIREMENTS:

1. London based artists
2. Submit and existing piece no longer than 2 years old

CATEGORIES:

The call for entries is open tointeractive design, digital fabrications, Interactive geotextiles installations, Interactive/responsive textiles, responsive light installations, interactive sound installations, interactive audio visual installations and performances and 3D audio-visual performances.
