Future Job Placements

Are you a future Arts Sector leader?

As part of folly's PREDICT programme developing the next generation of arts leaders and supporting young people to excel within a future job market and to imagine new horizons within the arts, folly is delighted to offer opportunities to three young (aged 18-24), long-term unemployed people who may be eligible, to apply for the following posts under Lancashire County Council's Future Jobs Fund Programme.

We are seeking candidates for the following three posts:

  • Digital Participation Projects Assistant – to support ambitious multi-partner activities aiming to empower marginalised groups to engage online with confidence.

  • Project Assistant (Collecting new media) – to support a case study investigation into how new media artwork may be collected and presented in traditional museum/gallery environments

  • Marketing Assistant – to assist in the overall promotion and marketing of folly's full programme of activities aiming to extend community awareness of the cultural benefit of participation

Each of these posts offers a great chance for a young outgoing individual to become part of folly's diverse and innovative practice.  All applicants have to fit the Fund criteria and must be referred for application by their local Job Centre advisor.

Deadline for applications is Friday 3rd September so get in touch with your local Job Centre now to find out further details of the scheme and to confirm eligibility. Job Centre Plus will provide further details on the posts and on how to make an application.
